 MUDDYLOOP go straight for the dance floor jugular with their latest double A-side remixes of "Glamour Magazines" and "Lonely Souls Fanclub" - the final release from their quirky debut "Flight Night". Taking the emotional numbers from the album and turning them into rip-roaring dance numbers is the task at hand, and Keenhouse and Club84 duly deliver the goods. First up, Keenhouse serves us his glamorous remix of "Glamour Magazines". Laced with his trademark big synth sound and dollops of gooey retro-ness, this peach of a track benefits from retaining the original’s lush vocals and setting them against Keenhouse's anthemic pump-your-hands-and-bite-your-bottom-lip production. Things get a little darker on the flip side with Club84's moody remix of "Lonely Souls Fanclub". Taking a cue from the original's bleak, lovelorn outlook, Club84's remix provides the perfect soundtrack to a broken heart. Entwining Leon King's yearning vocals with his pulsating bass line and a lingering John Carpenter-style synth riff, he manages to both capture and retain the original's feel, while sending new shivers down your spine and into your dancing feet!  MUDDYLOOP ride back into time and change the future with their double A-side remixes of "80's Love" and "Flight Night", the second release from their debut album "Flight Night". Getting L.A. remix guru and MySpace star Keenhouse (Valerie/Binary/Sunlixx crew) is the masterstroke here as he dusts off his old synths and delivers his trademark nostalgia on these remixes. First up, on "Flight Night" Keenhouse snatches the party-up chants from the original and expertly drops, cuts, and twists them in over his own delicious brand of electro-boogie house. Think Paul Hardcastle, Jan Hammer and Harold Faltermayer on ecstasy and you'd be close. For “80s Love” he retains the quirky vocals of the original and sets it all off to big and bright analogue keyboard wizardry.
