LONELY SOULS & GLAMOUR MAGAZINES RELEASED TO THE WORLD!!!! | 27-10-2009
Glamour Magazines RemixMUDDYLOOP go straight for the dance floor jugular with their latest double A-side remixes of "Glamour Magazines" and "Lonely Souls Fanclub" - the final release from their quirky debut "Flight Night".  Taking the emotional numbers from the album and turning them into rip-roaring dance numbers is the task at hand, and Keenhouse and Club84 duly deliver the goods.  First up, Keenhouse serves us his glamorous remix of "Glamour Magazines". Laced with his trademark big synth sound and dollops of gooey retro-ness, this peach of a track benefits from retaining the original’s lush vocals and setting them against Keenhouse's anthemic pump-your-hands-and-bite-your-bottom-lip production.  Things get a little darker on the flip side with Club84's moody remix of "Lonely Souls Fanclub". Taking a cue from the original's bleak, lovelorn outlook, Club84's remix provides the perfect soundtrack to a broken heart. Entwining Leon King's yearning vocals with his pulsating bass line and a lingering John Carpenter-style synth riff, he manages to both capture and retain the original's feel, while sending new shivers down your spine and into your dancing feet! BUY IT NOW!

FLIGHT NIGHT/80s LOVE RELEASED!!! | 09-03-2009
MUDDYLOOP ride back into time and change the future with their double A-side remixes of "80's Love" and "Flight Night", the second release from their debut album "Flight Night". Getting L.A. remix guru and MySpace star Keenhouse (Valerie/Binary/Sunlixx crew) is the masterstroke here as he dusts off his old synths and delivers his trademark nostalgia on these remixes. First up, on "Flight Night" Keenhouse snatches the party-up chants from the original and expertly drops, cuts, and twists them in over his own delicious brand of electro-boogie house. Think Paul Hardcastle, Jan Hammer and Harold Faltermayer on ecstasy and you'd be close. For “80s Love” he retains the quirky vocals of the original and sets it all off to big and bright analogue keyboard wizardry. It's fun, it's happy, and it's the perfect remedy for these serious times. So, put the ghetto blaster to eleven, roll out some vinyl and BUY IT NOW!

Yeah baby! MUDDYLOOP'S first article and AND interview, conducted by the beautiful people at inthemix.com. Read as blonde and metro get at eachother's throats in a very funny manner. Yep, they are funny guys. Anyway, check the big-up : "One of the defining trends of the naughties has been the cross-over dance acts. The ones that have the production skills and coolness to appeal to the underground, but also the flair and distinct hooks giving them mainstream popularity. Groove Armada, Mylo, to some extent the Plump DJ’s and recently, Calvin Harris have achieved this. You can add Muddyloop as ‘07’s likely breakout, with an awesome EP and album on the way." With thanks to Stuey Dean for pushing the MUDDYLOOP sex machine to the Australia ladeez...read the full article right here and wet your pants slowly.

GIRL ON GIRL -SECOND PROMO SINGLE RELEASED  POSTED | 10/08/2007
Hot off the heels of the last single BODYSWEAT, MUDDYLOOP hit up their fans with the Morris Day and The Time influenced new single GIRL ON GIRL. Oh, what a cheeky title! But this funky little number is more tongue in cheek than tongue in you know what. PEEP THE REVIEW FROM I-DJ MAGAZINE : "Muddyloop “Girl On Girl” - Proper quirky and a brilliant bit of elbow funk. Imagine Chas & Dave desperately trying to make Prince records and you’ve got a pretty good idea of what Muddyloop sounds like. It’s got the moves, its got the proper 80’s synth sounds, but it still sounds like they are working in the modern day. Great song too. 4 out of 5 (Bill Brewster) ". GO BUY IT HERE.

BODYSWEAT - FIRST PROMO SINGLE DROPPED! POSTED | 03/06/2007

MUDDYLOOP have just released their DEBUT single BodySweat! Yeah we said BodySweat! Some jacked-up Cassette Deck funk featuring the cool & hot vocals of JudiTH NiCHolas. Here is what some of the world's (yeah right) media are already saying!"Muddyloop’s “Body Sweat” – absolutely friggin’ filthy stuff slips silkily into what’s known as r n b these days. Now “crossover” means all sorts of things, but know this; “Body Sweat” will be loved by the black Peckham rude boys staggering under the weight of their urban cool as well as the Watford typists staggering under the weight of their Saturday night alcopopping. Every which way, this is a great track."
